Moqhaka Local Municipality invites tenders for the establishment of a panel of qualified service providers to provide comprehensive occupational medical surveillance services for municipal employees on an as-and-when-required basis for a period of three years.
Provincial health departments, correctional services, SOEs and municipalities procure medical services, occupational health, laboratory testing, emergency medical services, medical waste removal and health programme support. Practitioners need HPCSA, SANC or SAPC registration as relevant, facilities may need licensing, and bids require CSD registration, tax compliance and a B-BBEE certificate. Free State tenders come from the provincial departments, Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality, local municipalities such as Matjhabeng and Maluti-a-Phofung, and SOEs and mining and agricultural businesses across the province. Roads, water and sanitation, health facilities and agricultural projects are common, and local content and SMME participation are often part of the evaluation.
