ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability Africa is leading/partnering in the AfriFOODlinks project (Horizon Europe Project ID 101084322), which aims to improve food and nutrition security, climate resilience, and social equity in 65+ cities across Africa and Europe. Key pillars include applying an urban food systems lens, embedding researchers in local governments to co-design pilot projects, driving multi-actor governance, and accelerating women- and youth-led agri-food enterprises to support local value addition.
